Organic Pest Control
If you have a garden, you probably have pests. Not all of them are bad. Some are very helpful.
Take for example, the ladybug. It does a very good job in the garden, and can be ordered, and released to protect things if done properly. There is a cute site noted at the bottom to help with that. I think we do a lot of harm to the environment, as well as ourselves when we use manufactured pesticides. Our gardens would be healthier to us, and the surroundings if we attempted to use organic means of pest control rather than other methods. There is also a great site noted below for helpful hints on that as well.
Composting is very good for your garden also. You can get optimum plant growth, and the produce will be much better tasting vegetables. They'll grow healthier, talker, and produce more. And right now is a good time to take your extra and put it in a small basket and leave at someone less fortunate doorstep and knock. I'm sure they'll really appreciate that gesture.
Now is not the time to fuss with each other. People need to be thinking of ways to provide food for each other, and work from home, or think of work which can be done at home.
As far as pesticides go, I think we do more harm to ourselves and our environment by using them in our yard, or garden. That's why I have included adding a site where people can get valuable information about alternate ways to get rid of bad pests.
We must, and should be working towards food, work, and medicinal help right now, and leave the hard work of solving other parts of this issue to the big people in charge. Besides, getting frantic is not going to do us any good in the situation at hand. We have enough to do. Leave the other issues in their hands. There's no right, or wrong way to handle this. Their just doing the best they can at the time.
I hope this article will inspire you to grow a garden, even if it is small remember, every little bit helps. What may not seem like much to you, could mean the world to someone in need. Even if you can only give 1 piece of fruit out of your garden to someone in need. The nutritional value can be tremendous. Please try to be understanding in this time. Everyone is on edge. Everyone is stressed. And the medical staff is overloaded. The good feeling you get in return is priceless, because no matter what they do, you know you did your best and tried to help.
In a compost you can use whatever leftovers you have to throw out. A lot of times I used coffee grounds, egg shells, corn, etc...it works really well, and makes pretty good soil for later use. Mine was fantastic.I used it for my flowers mostly.I hope my readers have all found this article useful, and interesting. I have included some sites for those interested in finding out additional assistance.
