Over20 Vegetables, That Thrive In Minimal Sunlight

There are many plants out there. And if you're like me, you're chomping at the bit to find space for them if you're in a small place where putting it in the yard may not be an option. Or it doesn't seem to be. Who ever knew?? There are more than 20 vegetables that thrive pretty well in little sunlight. The list is very large. There is  Celery, Broccoli, Lettuce, Spinach, and even Cherry Tomatoes!! And many more too. Asparagus is a little slower to start, but once it does there are many happy returns,as this fella will give over, and over.

There are several different options you can choose for growing. But if you have very little space, then perhaps using some creativity and growing upward will help in a small arrangement. If you have time there are suggestions on a good seed raising mix which I think you'll find interesting. What you want for growing vertical is anything that goes up. Anything at all. It can be an old mail holder, or stackable wooden boxes. Just angle them to give each plant a little room to get past the other one.

In the south it can become sweltering hot. This can be very stressful for some plants. But there are very educated people who spend days with plants, and can offer very good assistance with your garden. I have some but there are others who have had the pleasure of being around plants a lot more than me at this time.

If you don't have much room, I would imagine that you are probably looking towards something on the shorter, more bushy side to save space, or perhaps something tall, but not too tall, which stands up straight. The list goes on quite a way. Designing your own little vegetable plant area wether you're in a small space, or not can be a bit of a task, but can be done. You'll just have to be creative and try to think of something unique.

Take an old pair of pants, and cut them into long shorts, then tie them and line them with a little bit of plastic wrap for protection in case of drainage, then fill with soil, and voila! You have a planter. Anything that will hold a plant can be used, and the great thing is that there are over twenty which grow in little sunlight. There are even some that take very little care and they grow and grow.

There are many delicious dishes which can be made with herbs and vegetables we really aren't very familiar with. It would be a great idea to try to plant something new, and experiment with the garden.

I hope you enjoyed this article has been as enjoyable for you to read, as it has been for me to research.
Have fun gardening!
