Basil, and Rosemary and thyme

Basil is a cute little herb. It's got the most adorable little horseshoe shape baby leaves when it first pops up. Makes me wanna squeeze it and give it a hug . Cutie.
But, it's a plant. People would think me crazy. Once Basil gets to about six inches tall, it's time to begin plucking leaves off it. And research says that the best time to do this is in the morning when there's more flavor in the leaves. It also likes moisture, but don't let it get soaked. As far as I know there's nothing said of thevstems, so apparently they aren't edible.
Rosemary is another good herb. It's loaded with benefits. The stem can be tossed in the compost(I hope). The needles can be removed and finely chopped and added to a dinner for it's many benefits there is more information about it noted below.
Thyme is very beneficial with several things in our life. It's a helpful agent with acne, blood pressure, coughs, etcetera. And used to be used as Incense and Elbalming elements.

Mint: Mint grows abundantly when put in a nice spot, as a matter of fact, if given the right conditions it'll go a little wild. It needs to be printed regularly , and does best when planted in a container so you can keep growth under control. Mint in general will spread rather quickly if allowed . There are over 13 species of Mint. It holds numerous benefits. For example: helpful to brain function and covers bad breath among many other things that this mighty little herb does .

Parsley: Parsley is so versatile, it is used in salads, pizza, pesto,  you name it. Pasley has even been eaten by itself, and this probably the healthiest way to go. Parsley needs to be harvested when there's three stems , near the bottom of the stem. It is fantastic in salads, and almost everything else you toss it into. It grows well in sunny places, but does well in moist soil. It's a little slow to get started so, plant a little early.

Oregano: Oregano grows about two feet tall, and about  two feet around. Keeping it pruned assists a lot in the growth of it.  It is an herb that has been used in many Italian dish others. It has many medicinal benefits, and a very long history. Did you know that Oregano has been around for about four thousand years? It can relieve tummy issues , and has infection fighting qualities too. So toss that Oregano in your food. It's a great addition to most anything as well as making a yard look pretty.

Dill: This is a plant which has very long roots, so be warned you will need a pretty deep pot for this one. Dill is a great herb . It is used in cooking , pickling and many other uses. It tends to grow like a loppy- eared rabbit. Kinda flopping a bit over the container at times as it gets larger. It can be pruned to help adjust growth in the planter. As it is pruned, this should help it bush out more. I think this would make a very good addition to any patio, and should be fairly easy to grow.

My apologies for being so late with this issue. Errands ran into the late of day, and still had research.I hope you find this article useful, and the research material helpful.Happy Mother's Day to all Moms-. Have a wonderful evening. I hope you had a very nice Mother's Day.
